John Castronova Sr. established Paramount Kitchens in 1955 and today the President of the company is John Castronova Jr. The company has been in the same location for over 66 years. All cabinets are made in our factory and the client can actually see their Kitchen being made, which is unique. At Paramount we believe, that quality is never an accident, it’s the result of intelligent effort and professional execution. The cabinets are made of double-sided, ¾ inch plywood veneer core, which adds to the cabinets’ strength and prevents warping. The back panel of the cabinet is not stapled but fits into a groove on the sides, top, and floor of the case. This adds to the cabinets rigidity. The cabinets at Paramount are built with a full top. Using a full top eliminates the problem of large utensils getting caught and jamming the drawer. The drawers are all solid wood and dovetail. All upper cabinets are manufactured 13 inches in depth as a standard. Having the factory gives us the ability to make an additional cabinet or alter one if needed, very quickly. We recognize that to have a successful project there needs to be total client satisfaction and to achieve that, 100 percent commitment is required on our part.

John Castronova Jr. grew up in his fathers’ business and became a master cabinetmaker very early in life. It has been his life passion and, it is never a problem for him to go the extra mile to satisfy a client because that client becomes part of the legacy of another, “Happy Paramount Client”. That has been the company mission for 61 years. John, also believes that doing little extras during the project are very appreciated by our clients and that adds to the success of the company.
Sharon Stewart has designed for Paramount for over 20 years. NARI, National Association Remodeling Industry certifies her as an Accreted Cabinet Space Designer. Sharon is proficient in Computer Aided Design (CAD) software. Sharon designed her Daughter in Law, Donatella Arpaia’s kitchen. Donatella is a well-known chef and restaurateur. Her kitchen was high lighted in People Magazine and Wine Spectator magazine. Sharon has taken the word of being involved with the client to a whole new level, “the best design is the one we do together.” She listens to the clients needs and provides a design that provides beauty and function. It is her passion that the client really understands all of the options and how one decision affects another. Her clients become friends for life because there is so much more sharing and emotion during a project then just designing a space. It is all about being connected and communication.
